Lazy sunday

Last saturday my mom turned 50, so I thought we should do something special for her. I had been planning a month in advance with the help of my dad and Katherine. Justin and I drove friday around 2pm. I had forgotten what it is like to drive for ten hours!!

It was cool to do a road trip with Justin, we had fun, we talked, and listened to music, and ate. Then it got dark and VERY COLD! I was freezing when we pulled for gas. My mom was very surprised! I was a little nervous of how she would react, but she was happy and excited. The next day we threw her a surprise masquarade black and white party. It turned out very nice and my family had a lot of fun. We had great food, and drinks. We had a pinata and a mask contest. It was hilarious to hang out with my family, they are all really funny, crazy and loud in a good way. We went to Carlos' house to play guitar hero. We had a good time, everybody played and we had pizza and wings. Later in the evening, we got to hang out with my friends, we had mexican with Liz and family, Christen, and Lauren. We went out with Lauren to foothills and Burke St. I was able to drink woodchuck! yay, it was very good and cheap, thanks to Mark!

Right now, Justin and I are watching movies and just being lazy on a sunday. It is storming, so it is like perfect weather. We saw no reservations last night. It was an okay movie. It moved a little slow and weird, but it was cute. I just don't like movies when a little girl/children lose their mom at an early age. It is so sad! We also started watchign hairspray but I fell asleep. Go figure. Today we saw "The Simpsons movie", it was funny, I used to watch the simpsons all the time when I was younger, so it ws good to see it again in a movie. It started raining harder!
