New York City

Last month, I had the opportunity to travel to New York city thanks to my friends Betsy and Lauren. I was a newbie to "the city" and it was my dream to visit. I always heard great things about NYC and I got to see it for myself.

New York city is amazing! It is definitely the city, it has so much to offer, from food to culture, architecture and well the list goes on. What did I love the most? I enjoyed the diversity, architecture, and how packed together everything is. I loved Central Park very much. It is so beautiful and it's amazing to see this beautiful park in the middle of the city.

The food was very good, I tried different types of cuisine (American, Thai, Japanese, Mexican, etc) and the restaurants are just so neat! The atmosphere and themes are awesome. I loved walking around and observing people and buildings. I got to cross the Brooklyn bridge which was one of those things I always wanted to do. I got to see Manhattan from "Top of the Rock" and it was breathtaking.

The museums were really great. As an art lover, I was truly amazed. I got to visit MoMA, The museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was outstanding! 5th avenue was fun. Chinatown was crazy!! Times Square was cool, I wish I would have gone to see a broadway show, but that is a great reason to go back :)
