Wall-E and Eve

This one goes to Justin!! Wall-E is a great movie, you should go see it if you haven't. I used my mad design skills to create this for him, and to clarify I didn't create the vectors, just added the text :) Wall-E reminds me of Justin because he is curious and loves to collects things. On the other hand, I am like Eve, hyper and destroys things. We make a good combination right?

The movie is really cute, and even though there is not much dialogue, it's not needed, it stands for itself. It has a great message and amazing graphics!!!

Sex and the city

I got all the Sex and the city episodes this past january so I have been watching them. I know I am really late since they came out a long time ago. I have really enjoyed the different topics and situations presented in the show. I feel like I am watching the show at the right time in my life, where I am old enough to relate and understand.

I guess the biggest learning curve for me has been seeing the big picture when it comes to love and relationships. As a viewer, it is easy for me to get the point, to see how and why women get crazy and psycho some days, and to understand both side of the stories. The funny thing is that when I am in those situations, many times I act like the naggy annoying woman who is just being a girl and wants attention. Guys are simple and to the point, they know what they are told and what they see. They aren't here to read our minds, they are here to love us and spend time with us. Of course, I am not speaking for all members of the male population, but for those guys who turly love us. We women get so wrapped up in the dumbest little details that don't even matter. We expect men to know everything we want and feel and it doesn't work that way; unless you communicate, you will be waiting frustrated forever.

Obviously, I see the women side of the story, I know guys don't get us most of the times. We think they are careless and selfish. The truth is that they are with us because they love us, otherwise they wouldn't be. We tend to over analyze everything and find little details to hang on and fight about. I am not speaking for all women of course, there are many exceptions. I guess my biggest struggle is growing and being able to see the big picture and enjoy the simple things in life. I believe there has to be great communication and balance for a relationship to work. Sometimes you give in, but many times you gain.

Watching sex and the city allows me see those mistakes women and men make when it comes to relationships. The thing I am working on is making sure I am rational when I encounter those situations in life where I have the choice to make a difference or to be another girl in the city.

Weekend happenings

So it is sunday night, another week is about to start! I love weekends!! why are they so short? So friday night I finally the 1st Harry Potter movie, I know I am way late, but I just never really wanted to become obsessed. The movie was good, I love the imagination of the writer, it is very cool, I will be watching all of them until I catch up to go see the latest one that is coming in theaters this summer. Saturday, we went bowling for the Junior Achievement Disney Bowl-a-thon, it was fun. I had not bowl since like 5 or 6 years ago, and not to mentioned I am way too used to Wii Bowling, so I had a rough start, but it got better! I actually did pretty decent, then we went to eat at Pei Wei, I love me some chicken fried rice! Today I just cleaned and rearranged the living room, did laundry and went grocery shopping at the new target, it is so cool! I love target.

Justin and I decided to give netflix a try, it is actually really cool, I think what I like the most is that you can stream the movies to your TV you have to have an Xbox and an online subscription, which Justin has, so it is pretty sweet. I got watch the pink panther and I forgot how funny and silly it is, I had not seen it since I was a kid.

I am going to start adding more art and inspiration to my blog. I got to see a Disney friend's blog and I got inspired, he is also getting married to a beautiful lady, and they have the best wedding invitation ever!!! I am very inspired by that invitation and now I want to get married! ha just kidding...

Hello

Long time no write...I am really bad about writing on here. Well, what's up? new year, oh wait! it is march!! almost spring time, we just spring forwarded our clocks last sunday, not very fun, I feel tired and messed up for a week. Can you imagine if I was from California? I would be so lost every time I visited, I don't know how Justin does it. Oh Justin! he is so funny. I love him, he is such a character, a cute one I might add, he is always teaching me all these cool things, and sometimes I am like blah blah..but I do grasp..it just takes me a while haha.

It was cold these past few months.. It was nice but so weird for FL, like my car was frosted twice, I had not had to wait for my car to defrost since Winter 2006 in NC. Crazy!!

Okay, so I need to get going because American idol is about to start and I need to research our pool pump brand. See ya!
